Question Fuse's

Greetings from Sunny England.

I have recently bought an early Japaneese import SZX & I've fallen in Love!!!! What a great car. I deal in imported 4x4/SUV's and have recently started trying a few sports cars, a 300zx and a little Honda. I had made the 300 my own untill I came across the SVX which has stollen my heart.

I have an elecrtical problem and as the car is a grey import from Japan information is scarse! and in Japaneese!!!

I need the fuse identities for the main fuse box under the hood. I have trawled the forums etc and found a scan for the fuse box in the cabin but not for the other one. It would be greatly appreciated if someone could help me out.

Also are there workshop manuals availiable for the SVX?

I am very impressed to find such a great site and comunity centered around my new toy/truelove......

Here is a chart of the underhood fuses:

Keep in mind, in your car, there is a DIFF-LOCK fuse in the location of the FWD fuse in this daigram.

Best of luck.

Thanks

Many thanks for the diagram, both feeds to the 25amp fan fuses were burnt out, we replaced them and figured that one was fan but couldn't figure what the other one did!! Now I know they are both for fans thats sorted.
I have an intermittent "stuck in park" problem and can't trace it to a fuse so tomorrow the switch itself will be checked out.
Once again thanks for the help and the warm welcome.
John

SVX Manuals

Hi John,

Welcome.

I am quite new around here but I also fell in love with SVX's.

I have a similar problem with manuals, both the User Manual and the Service Manual, because I bought my Yellowsub in Germany and I can't realy understand all of it.

Joe (Svxistentialist) sent me a note to contact James in Australia for a bundle order of both manuals in which more people would be included, mainly from Europe (we're three so far).

I was just about to PM James about it.
Can I include you in the list?
I still don't know the prices but for now it would be only a survey.
Also keep in mind James suggested it will take 6 weeks to get it and probably make it two more for dispatch/travel time.

If you (or anybody else) should be interested please let me know the year of the car.

Tone
