Here's a hoot...
The place that did the surgery didn't tell me that my insurance would only cover about 38 cents of the procedure, so we went ahead and did it, they found abslolutely nothing wrong with my innards, except maybe the bruises they inflicted. So when I got a call right after the thing I said I was unemployed and that we needed to work out a payment schedule. They agreed to 15 bucks a month, (I could pay more, but I was pi$$ed off big time). So, fast forward three months and I get a call from the b!tch from hell, "Mr. Metcalf, we are not a financial institution, we need to change these terms." So I replied, "you're right, I'm still unemployed, let's make it 10 dollars a month for your services." She says, "That's not what I mean sir.". I said, "okay, and if you call me three months from now and I'm still unemployed, we'll reduce it to 5 dollars a month, and then we can go in increments until we reach two cents per month if you'd like, is that fair? Funny thing, I haven't heard back from those folks.

Man, is this the Sacramento Brats topic or the Viagra topic? I'm getting confused here....
Hmm... weekend to cruise? sounds like a plan to me! I like it.... 3+ SVXs at the same time... that would be nice! And it gives me more incentive to fix that damn NOS! Chris, You're planning about installing a Pro Fogger in yours? I don't remember exactly, but I think that the Sportsman Fogger is one step below, right? Honestly, I think the Sportsman should be enough for the SVX, unless you really plan on building up the engine, etc. Also, the direct plumbing is a royal pain. I don't know whether you have the skills and tools necessary for the job, but I surely don't. I made an inquiry on the install prices when I was shoping for systems, and one shop told me it would be $550 to do direct port (which is what the Sportsman uses). The dry kit, on the other hand, would only cost $150 to install. After looking at my funds.. I decided that I really didn't feel like going into debt over this project, so I spent $800-1000 instead of the $1400+ it would have cost for direct port injection. Keep us updated on your progress, I'm eager to hear about it. |
