Working on a 95 svx. This has me just a little baffled..It idles great untill it gets warmed up and goes to closed loop operation..Then it dies up to 5 times. Then it runs fine after that. The mass air flow sensor is new and tests fine, and all the sensors seem to test ok .Antyone have a thought on what next.Plz help!!

Re: 95 svx dies once warmed up
The coolant temp sensor would cause that?

Re: 95 svx dies once warmed up
tryed running with out temp sensors today no differance..Test look good, but it learned a new trick today now it has a irradic ideal once it is warm and will keep running about 300-400 rpm. Anyone think cleaning the throttle body might help maybe blocked air passage? I know this is a problem with toyta..

Re: 95 svx dies once warmed up
Are you getting c/e codes on the dash?
Is a vacuum line unplugged on your throttle body? Take a look to see if all hoses are connected. How long ago was your fuel filter replaced? Same with air filter...check that too. |
