Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

Btw, earlier in the summer when I was having my various personal problems I emailed Andy asking to cancel my order and was told that I could only if someone else signed up to take my place. I was a bit surprised since he had already refunded one complainers money, but at that point I figured the hell with it, my money was already spent so I said nevermind and am hoping that eventually they will be shipped.

Back when I ordered, the 1st proto type had already been made and I was expecting about a month or two for delivery, after all it seemed like very minor corrections to a fit that was very close already.

It is not something I needed but seemed like a good deal and wanted to help get the group buy numbers up. So far am regretting my decision to participate however past history indicates that we will eventually get our radiator's and they will be good quality, but it may be another 6 months for all we know

Also I'm not terribly impressed with the customer service experience. I find Andy's Facebook responses to be pretty unprofessional and think it is weird that he is spendind so much time writing long winded responses and flaming anyone that says something is taking too long.

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

I started worrying when I got an email from Andy while on his honeymoon in the Philippines (I think) asking if we wanted to buy those new slim fans.

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

Andy does seem to be very unprofessional. I had been confused about the payment options on the radiator so I sent him an email. The response went a little somthing like this "You're wrong, I never said that". That alone made me want a ask for a refund in full.

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

Sad to say but this is exactly why I am reluctant to get involved in group buys which involve a product which is unproven or in development.
That and the fact that I live a hand to mouth existence with little to no extra toy money.

For those of you who cant get to it, I have assembled all the comments so far and attached a Word Document.

I can always delete it if this thing ever blows over and can post updates as they happen.

This whole thing was Started on Saturday, Sept. 11 and has over 40 comments since then.

Just the text here. But some of the memes are hilarious.

I can only imagine if one ever fails what the lifetime warranty hassle will be like...

Re: Possible all Aluminum Radiator group buy

I came here to ask some one to do that since I dont use facebook, but I figured it was asking for too much. So thank you for reading my mind. That man seems like hes really full of him self and pretty childish to talk to customers like that. Hope it doesn't take too mucb longer...

To answer your question SVX 92-97 anyone who wants a radiator has to wait on this chump until he decides to actually work on this project and ship out the radiators.

A real mudslinging event. Threats, accusations, insults, defenses. AMR is defending their delays in production, and I am not sure how many of the comments are from those just venting, or those who actually have placed an order and have a financial stake and a definite need.

The opening shot across his bow goes like this:

"So here I go again... stirring the pot because it's what I'm good at. AMR Engineering, Andy Reyes. Have you even touched the SVX project in this last month? Two weeks from now I will be asking for a full refund if there are no radiators being shipped out. Have a good day working on that EVO X of yours, since that's the only thing you work on."

.

Haha I've become an internet sensation
Thanks svxcess for sharing the drama by compiling the info into that word document.

Poor Andy... He needs to be careful with what he says. One of these days his "business" will be no more. He might have some talent in fabrication but he is a poor business man/child.

Wasn't that the biggest slap in the face towards "us" the customers? I emailed him back saysing, "Not interested in the fans, finish one sandwich before asking for another one"
