Two seams or four seams is question that is decided by the pitch that you're making. A two seamer is the classic curve ball. A four seam is a screw ball.

PS: Baseball spring training has started so all is right in the universe. My prediction is that NY Yankees win the World Series in 5-6 games against any National League team.

If I'm not mistaken, John Hoffman had a two seam steering wheel. He was the one who pointed it out to me. Of course, he may have been pointing it out to me on someone else's car -- can't remember. It was in the parking lot at the 10th Anniversary meet, so, it's possible that I could have been seeing/hearing things as a result of heat stroke.

And I thought I was obsessed!

Yes, that was me. I never noticed that my pearlie had only the two lower seams until Lafayette. My VIN was 2522 with a manufacture date of 6/91

My neighbor has 2 seams... thats where I first noticed it. His is vin 200 4/91.

Mine has two seams also. My VIN is 3107, but being JDM spec, my wheel has the stereo controls and no airbag.

Not sure of the build date, but think it was 6/91. My reg date is 12/91.

Seems to be a pattern here with the VINs.

Only the early ORIGINAL cars have 2 seams.
