Scams
NOTE: to all that buy online [here or elsewhere]
I promise this is the end of the saga! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING ON-LINE FROM A PRIVATE PARTY IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!! I am out a bundle because of a scam about SVX parts from Oakland [nota5speed] DA [CA & MASS] said tough luck -- go to small claims court - small claims said "come here to file or forget it" -- CA law says no lawyers allowed to represent at small claims court. My take is that this is a license issued by the state of CA to steal on line from any fool out of the state of CA. FEDS FBI said go to Secret Service they would not do a thing! Pass this along to friends. PERSONAL THOUGHT: If you consider yourself a good and honest member of this site I think it is your responsibility to alert all of us IMMEDIATELY OF SUSPECTED PROBLEMS OF THIS SORT. [ A post in the Wanted threads would have stopped me before I got in trouble.] |

David, you paid him for a transmission, didn't you? I was wondering what the outcome had been.
Sorry it sucked. I think we get so used to the people on this forum being good folks that we tend to trust everybody who shows up. It's a shame that some sociopaths are so willing to take advantage of that. Where's Big Vinnie when you need him?

Hey if you wanted to pretend that it was sold to me, I would be willing to go down and represent you. I live in Ca. We're not all drugies and con artists.

Statistically only about 80 percent are drugies, 17 percent are con artists, and the remaining 3 percent stopped giving a damn years ago...

re: great
Great, now Jay_Walker's a strung out teenage con that can't drive because he's a teenager
j/k anyway, yeah if you could find out the address, maybe Jay_Walker can try to get it for you. note to Jay_Walker - bring lots of friends. bring lots of guns. bring lots of ammo. wear full body armor (we know you can get it in california). bring a tank or two if needed (we know you can get that too....although you can't drive i don't think it'll really matters ) too bad the con's not from atlanta, i could help you get it then |

re: buy
David, did you buy it from ebay? If you did, I thought you could get ebay to get your money back.
I'm sorry to hear about that. If you don't mind me asking how much were they selling the 5 speed for? I never saw that ad. If you did the transaction via visa you could dispute it saying you never bought it. If you sent a money order, if it's not too late you could take the money order stub and get it cancelled saying it was stolen. private parties are hard to deal with. if i can't see them i typically won't buy them. business i can sue, private party i can only tatoo with a baseball bat. i doubt anyone here from this forum would do such a thing as scam you and if anyone here knew about it, we would have mentioned so. but if the culprit is here in this forum, remember that after reading meet, 60 someodd svxes will be showing up at your front door to maul you. First thing I do after I grab friends, getlit up, steal guns, body armor, amunition, and a tank that I cant drive, is coming over to your house Noir, so i can urinate on your geraniums, park that tank on your lawn, set all my friends on fire, and tell the police you instigated a riot. What are friends for....

RE: get in line
Jay, what are you thinking? this is georgia. what are you thinking orange county? get in line with the geraniums, everyone else does, why do you think they grow so big? a riot instigated by me and setting people on fire .... sheesh the cops would reply "again? don't worry about it, he does it every week...we were there at the last one and had a "BLAST"...".
bring it jay, do your worst (note to jay .... don't forget to bring the beer w/your friends, this is a byob riot) |

I can't say impressive but I can say Scary.
Noir, Everyone knows you dont have enough friends to start a riot. the only reason the cops let you go is because they take pitty on one with so little to live for and don't want to push you over the edge. Little do they know. You fell off the edge a long time ago if i have anything to say about it. The problem with bringing our own Beer, is that after we'rel shot up on heroin we'll be driving so bad that we probably wont make it out of the state without being pulled over (en mass) at least a couple times. And with all that Beer the cops are gonna start asking questions. Of course once we make it to nevada, it'll be smooth sailing because nobody cares what the hell you do there, as long as you stop in a casino or two. |

re: don't know about you doug
don't know about you doug, but if 60 benz's drove up to my door, i'd literally S$%^ myself. i'd know that i pissed off the wrong person and need to crouch down to try to kiss my a$$ goodbye. but then again i'm crazy and would probably go outside with a 24 pack and ask "want a beer?" or say "wrong house, it's 2 streets down. but you'd better watch for the 60 beemer's outside waiting."

fell off the edge?
edge? is that what i fell off of? damn and i thought it was the second step of my front porch. no wonder it hurt so much. don't make me change my name to Sally and point out to my imaginary enemies that Harry now lives in upper California under the name of Jay Walker.
btw - can you place a bet at the roulette table for me ...... umm.. put it on black 13 on the way through nevada. lucky numbers |

re: sorry david
sorry david, i skimmed through and did not initially notice that you were scammed by a MEMBER of this forum. very interesting that the culprit is 17-18 years of age. for future buyers from people who only has a few posts, maybe a known "honest" member could check out the part for others before buying it that lives in the same area(to make sure it's exists.) i would do it for people selling in the atlanta area.
