Do you know what this is??

Was reading the posts concerning missing original parts from your SVX's. I have a couple of interesting things.

Can you guess what these are?? I know because I just opened the plastic bag they were in for the first time after 9 years. They could be Subaru specific - but for sure should have been installed on my SVX all these years.

If you have to have them, I could let them go for somewhat less that a ka-billion dollars!

I hope the attachment makes it, first time to do this......

I don't really know, but I'm guessing they're clips to hold something in place. Perhaps in the trunk somwhere.

Man, that's gonna drive me nuts.

I thought maybe they were switch blanks, but they don't really match any switches on the car...

They're probably not dust caps for any electrical connectors...

Lightbulb Maybe but I don't know why

There's two, and they look about the same size as the exhaust ends...... maybe to keep out moisture???? I've never see anything like that except on airplanes and racing car.... but other than that ...not a clue!!1

I dunno about that. To me they look like each is about .5-1" across.

The only reason I can think of to include something like that is for the removal of an item on the car - like the hex wrench in the center console for the sunroof. Since they're flat black and have little handles, I am guessing that they're temporary and remain hidden after you remove the part and install them in its place.

Where, specifically, they go...well, let me know if you find out!

Hey... have you had any problems with your "Mr. Fusion?" Mine has been making a weird rumble sound... might be my bearings though.

Just stuck my head under the old SVX to see where these things go and couldn't find the lcation. Guess my head's too big. Well, they were OEM for me.

I also have a baby seat - seat belt retaining clip ( as described in the owners manual ) somewhere.

While digging through the car found what appears to be a "period correct" french fry and discovered the driver's seat has a lower lumbar support (ahh, the things we set and forget).

don't put coffee grounds in it - seems to affect performance for some reason. banana peels add 5-10hp, though.

I know what they might be!
I think they go on the inside of your rear wheels behind the rotors, then clip into a little hole. One would take them out to manually adjust the rear parking brakes, turning that little rotating gear.
