Brake Hose Removal
Hi All-
Looks like my mechanical ineptitude is showing through again! I am replacing the rubber hoses on my car with nice pretty Stainless Steel hoses (from Motorsport Warehouse), but I'm not sure what the trick to getting the stock hoses off is. There is only one bolt (as far as I can tell), but it seems too small for me to be able to attach the new brake hose to. So now that I'm out of daylight (I started way too late, apparently) What is the trick? Thanks! ~TEck |

Re: Brake Hose Removal
Check my old locker. I have a photo of the brake hose connection with the bolt sizes. Maybe it can help as a guide. Good luck!

Re: Brake Hose Removal
Thanks for the labeled picture, that helps a bunch.
The Brake line bolt is supposed to spin in place then? It doesn't come off the lines? I'm asking because mine doesn't want to turn at all. ~TEck |

Re: Brake Hose Removal
From what I remember, it spins in place. I believe the line is flared, so if the line turnes with the bolt, STOP! You will break the line. Soak it with some WD40 or similar. Be patient and do it right, good luck!
