Subaru Or Volvo Dealer/Shop In Denver CO

Im moving to Denver in a few weeks and was wondering if anyone in here had any type of connects with a dealer or reputable independent Subaru or Volvo shop.

In denver almost any independent shop works on volvo and subaru. i hate to plug my own shop so i won't but we work on many volvo and subaru cars. But to make a recommendation; before i was a mechanic i frequented superupair in boulder. good guys, even can help you with parts for the svx. got a used window regulator delivered to denver really cheap. a few of their techs even have an svx. What kind of subaru and volvo do you have? do you need work done or are you just looking for a place to have future things done?

that makes sense. i should read more carefully. i will put out a couple feelers with people i know but don't know of anything off the top of my head. job market is pretty thin for mechanics right now a lot of shops are pretty slow.

Two possible mechanics - Do not have any personal experience, so I do not have opinion.

1) Brian @ All Star Imports, Lakewood CO, has eight years of experience working on Subies - 303 274 274 9830 or 303 903 3755.

2) Hugo in Englewood CO, has worked on Subies since 92 and has SVX parts - 303 781 6546.

Sorry I wasn't very clear...not everyone knows I am a technician.

more than likely I will end up living in lakewood.

It doesn't have to be a full time job I just need some sort of income. My bills are minimal and I have a roommate.

I do good work and my resume will impress. Ive got 8 ASE's, state and emissions inspector for VA, and factory training on Jaguar,Subaru,GM, and Volvo. Im a bit of a perfectionist (comes from Ferrari racing background), comebacks are non existent and I can fix pretty much anything in a timely manner as long as I have the correct literature.

thanks for clarifying, i am a technician and have had good experience helping people get jobs by giving their info to our suppliers and tool dealers who drive around shop to shop. i will put in a word with them and see if they have any info when they come back next week. are you willing to commute a ways to work or do you just want to know about jobs in lakewood?

I dont mind a 25 mile drive or so...still havent fully decided on a location. More than likely Ill figure it out when I get there, and the type of job/location will play a roll.

dropped your info with the snapon guy this morning he is going to give it to the subaru dealer he goes by on thursday. said they were hiring last he heard but unsure if they filled the position. will let you know if i hear anything back.

i'm not sure which one it is, guy only said he might now of a dealer on his route that's hiring. another one of our distributors said he knew of an independent subaru place in lakewook. also didn't give the name but if it's the one i'm thinking of it should be a good shop. i will let you know what i hear back on tuesday when they return. when are you coming to denver?

I should be there by this evening. Ive got about 18 more hours of driving.

wow this is difficult. I need a guide...not much in the way of work here either. Any do or don't places to live suggestions?
