The good:

Good Glass

All fluids recently changed

Sun Visors Stay in Place!!!

Sunroof works but needs a push up to get it going

Clean title in hand

The bad:

Body: Poor. Few dents and scraps, weirds spots on the hood. Previous owner(s) didn't treat her nicely.

Engine: Ticking from driver's side bank. Potential bad alternator.

Transmission: No parking gear. Slips a little bit between 2nd and 3rd

Struts: Poor needs replacing. Car pulls to the left

Rear wiper doesn't work

Driver side seat, leather has separated on the side from the plastic, exposing the foam

Exhaust: Needs O2 sensors. Someone did a hack job on the exhaust and didn't reinstall O2 sensors! Quite frankly you'll need to replace the exhaust manifolds as well because they did a horrible weld job and screwed up the flanges.


I've had her since last July as a daily driver. I'm moving across country in 3 months and have decided to let her go. She died on me yesterday. Tried a jumper box and she fired up but once the box was disconnected she died. It seems to be the alternator but I'm not 100% positive.

I'll get some better pictures up this weekend. I'd like to see someone from this board get her and fix her up. I just don't have the facilities or tools to do it myself at my apartment.

Sad to see her go. It was fun while it lasted. Hopefully when I get out to CA I'll be able to find a place with a garage and if so I'll find myself another SVX. Despite all of her issues, she's truly one of the funnest Subaru's I've driven.
