Ew, ew, ew, ew, ew.

Never. Like, ever. lol The only thing I'd do to it is run duals (because honestly, what's a luxury car with single pipe? Just plain wrong). And maybe a chip for some fun.

Or, go back in time, slap on some Dayton 150 spoke wire wheels, and some hydros!

Sorry, alot of people around here completely ruin the Caddy's. I am a fan
of Caddy's... and wish some people would just leave the car alone,
give it a paintjob (Pimp Green not included), and keep it clean

Re: Potential First time SVX Owner

That's all of Florida man. Trust me. I lived in Broward during my time in high school, and every car you could think of had oversized rims, and/or candy paint. In fact, by my high school, there was a house with a Toyota Corolla on 22's, and it was painted candy purple for some bizarre reason. Every time I saw that car I had the urge to key it. It made me sick inside.

Oh, and let's not forget the badges you can buy at like, Advance Auto Parts advertising your rim size.

*shudders*

(and lol This topic has totally spurred into a different direction)

Nice one lad, congratulations!. Nice car, IMO. I have always fancied the Seville sibling, classy shape too.

Yours being a '96 does it have the Northstar?

You should keep it close to stock, it's a fine car.

Joe.

Indeed, it went from welcoming a new SVX Lover to the masses, to complaining about Flora-DUH and the bad taste in car mods

Yeah, it's got the 4.9 litre 300bhp Northstar. Plenty of power to haul a trailer full of my stuff to college. lol

lol nsm. In high school, there was a kid with a red V6 Mustang who put the GTR badges on the sides and his trunk. Well, it bothered me seeing it every day in the parking lot, so one day, me and a friend went up to the car during lunch and peeled them off by hand. We were terrible. :P

Reminds me of the NASOIC video of them shooting up some Altezza lights

Re: Potential First time SVX Owner

Me and my friend Luke did a lot of stuff like that to kids with stupid cars. It was pretty funny.

I think when you get here to jax, we will get along just fine
You can come out with me Sat. Nights up to a local SONIC, where 100 - 300 cars meet every night.

And trust me, there is more then enough to laugh at. I usaly hang out with the WRX/Evo croud... but I am still the odd man out, as I am the only SVX at the whole place LOL

Re: Potential First time SVX Owner

Woah awesome. There's never been anything like that anywhere I lived, except this one show in Massachusetts when I was like 14 at my dad's job at the Pontiac dealership where 30-40 guys gathered twice a month. Lots of sweet cars there.

Of course, a Caddy will be a bit out of place. :P

And (edit) I always used to see sonic commercials but never, ever could find one. lol There's one near me now but I've never been. Just a random tidbit. lol

It is a 4.6L Northstar, the 4.9L Cadillac engine was junk.

Ah, you win. It is a 4.6L Northstar. Just not the same as in the base cars. Guess you learn something new every day after all. :P

I get to (hopefully) pick the car up next week. Right now it's still at my uncle's house.
