Thanks for the diagrams. I personally like the diagrams at subaruparts.com for the 92 as they are a little easier to follow and more complete than the later ones. At least thats how i feel.

Re: Rubber trim on top of rear wheel well?

One of the reason I posted is because mine doesn't seem to be held in with screws, seems to be held in place with something that has a smooth plastic head on it. And as I mentioned the bumber cover seems to be over it in the rear and the side skirt over it in the front. Can this just be pulled out and put back in or do you need special tool? I don't want to damage anything, and I want to have a good idea of what I am doing before I order the parts.

NikFu: Yours look like they got Collagen injections.

Re: Rubber trim on top of rear wheel well?

Mine did not look like Nikfu. Mine was like SVXcess. There could have been two screws holding it as the parts list shows. It was coming off, so I just pulled on it slowly until it came out. No I did not replace them.

I'd look very carefully to see what's got the moulding "pulling away." First thing that went through my mind: Rust perforation. Hope I'm wrong.

Yeah, a little bit of rust worse on passenger side. I don't think it is tool bad overall, I'll have to get it checked out. For now I am just going to remove the old rubber and wait on replacing it until I know how to deal with the rust. I thought I read on here something about a rust inhibitor. I'll have to do some research. It doesn't surprise me though, the way that rubber was, it was sure to be catching moisture.

Sorry to be such a downer, but I suspect when you have it checked out you'll be told you're way past rust inhibitor. Good luck with it.
