Exclamation Tranny help :-/

Ok, First off, No codes, I am not getting any errors of any kind.

I make a turn, any turn, and give it too much gas, and my rpm's jump though
the roof as if I am in netural.

Also, maintaining a slower speed, sometimes I will feel, and hear a jolt...
closest thing I can relate, is take a Manual, maintain a speed, and pop the clutch, while not releasing the gas, the rpms dont jump, but you get that thud from under you that makes you scared that your tranny is about to die.

I am very confused with the problems, I've been having to pull out into traffic at angles, or accel straight then turning as I let off the gas.

someone please give me some idea's.. I've had someone at work tell me it mite be a Center Diff problem, but I'd rather hear from the people here first.

Have you checked the transmission fluid when the car is running and sitting on the level in park?
Drain the transmission pan, remove the trans pan and change the internal filter.
Is the trans pan dented?
Is the screen in the trans filter clogged?
Was there an O-ring where the filter goes up into the transmission?
Do these things first.
Tom

If your description can be summarised as:-

When turning and only when turning, power transmission is disengaged.
When in a straight line there is sometimes a thud which appears to be a short similar disengagement.

---------- The front differential is the prime suspect item.

thats pretty much it, there was once where I was going in a straight line, hit the gas pretty hard so the %@#hole behind me wouldn't rear end me, where it disengaged for a good 1/2 a sec, and BANG, (I drove 35 the rest of the day that day, it was a huge thud :\ )
