ok so i did this burn out in my 96 svx awd, it was a little wet out but to the point i did a pritty good burn out but he said that it probly wasnt awd and was probly either my passenger or driver side wheels spinning... would this be true with the svx or could i have been doing an awd burn out, it was an even road surface......

Highlydoubtful- my assumption is your AWD (duty sol c stuck open?) is having issues. A hundred and something WHP can't burn out and awd car with a rear LSD. You would have to be burning out at least 3 wheels at the same time.

unless its snowing.

I got my car to chirp on dry pavement. However, that slight second of chirp was followed by acceleration due to the TCU throwing power to the rear.

hehe, saw tom doing dougnuts after Reading. That was intresting

YEah, you shouldt be able to do burnouts..Mabey a chirp here or there, or mabeey even a bit of a skid if you REALLY hammer it from a dead stop on a full lock turn w/ bad tires...

Might wanna put the car on 4 jack stands and report back with observations

My Leggy will "bark" the tires in 1st in 2nd. Even on damp pavement, with the rear LSD she won't burn them. Now get her in the Gravel..... Then she's a handful!

And make sure the FWD fuse isnt installed
That would probably make it even easier to do a burn out....in FWD

Btw cruisen_15, I live about 15min away from you.

4.44 gears + slightly damp wooden bridge deck + 25 mp/h rolling start = 3 wheels spinning like mad til the bridge ends (150 feet) then a MIGHTY big chirp onto the pavement again......

If the LSD is a bit on the weak side, you MAY have been spinning one front, and the opposite rear wheel. My 87.5 XT would do that. (5manAWD difflock)

hmmmmmmm
possibly.....
but the back end was slewing around pretty good which would usually indicate both rear wheels spinning.....?

and the rally-x pics i have show rooster tails from both rears .....

Sorry, that was meant for cruisen_15.
If his LSD is weak/broken he's still 2WD, one front, one rear.
