god I love coming on the forums and not having anything wrong with my car to discuss. let this one die. you'd get bigger gains if you emptied an ice tray into your airbox.

An intercooler its not a freezing device, it just equals the inside temperature with the outside temp, if you take air at 90degrees from outside and then run it trough an intercooler with air at 90 degrees flowing trough you wont cool or heat nothing....

The intercooler is ONLY for a turbochargerd aplication where the turbo compresses the air and that compression produces HEAT, so the air coming out of the turbo will come at... let say 110 degrees.... so if you run it trough an intercooler with air at 90 degrees then you will have a heat trasfer and you can lower from 110 to maybe 100 or 98 whatever....

A N/A intercooler will be just an obstruction to your air delivery system making it worse than a clogged paper filter.
