Chris, IMHO were just took one small step but one giant leap into the worng direction. The degeneration that will follow such a flame forum will be the influx of immature people who cannot keep quiet on the internet.

Keep in mind that this forum is not yet an active one. And that there is a thread in the Admin area to discuss the feedback you are giving us.

We have a large amount of intelligent men and women on this forum and I'd hate to see this change with people being immature and taking their frustrations out on others, even if it's in a "special" section forum. We ought to hold a high standard in this place.

I vote no

I don't think a forum should be in here just to be have insults giving out to other members who one person don't care for.I thought this was for what it reads....The Subaru Svx World Network...not about who can i bash about him or her today...Everyone has a dislike of a person but to others he or she might be there friends and when we get to start bashing it goes to the others that are friends of the person who is getting kick around and then it flows downhill from there and the whole network would be just a stomping ground and the focus would not be what it was founded for.. SVX and getting to know one another so we can have a place to talk about cars and so forth and to plan on meetings but if we start this i think it will flow over to other places and so on.
I did not see a feedback place to put this...Lets keep this family oriented so all can enjoy... If you don't like someone or have a problem solve amoung yourselfs,,,but not here...

It's a good thing that you added those smileys Landshark... Because in all seriousness, the n00b is exactly right... It has been years since I saw this board act more like a family... Everyone is always fighting about stupid crap... People calling others names because they think diffrently...

IMHO, we DEFINITLY don't need a Hot Box Forum... Infact, that is probably the LAST thing that we would need...

Im still not sure on how it will work. I used to read stuff in the admin area that had been locked or removed just to see how members had gotten themselves expelled/restricted . I dont see the option to get in there anymore

Some of the forgotten threads may still hold valuable opinions/info...I think if its a storage place for those threads that might be a good idea...but as far as just jumping in there and talking smack would likely breed hate.

i dunno

Hahaha, done that already off of another topic on NASIOC... Not going there again at the moment since I am at work right now...

How 'bout we call it "Playground for people with really small minds that don't realize why they joined a car forum in the first place".... That seems like an appropriate name...

It would appear that the box may have started rolling.
