No crank problem
Well, I'm getting the bugs out of it slowly but surely, But now it refuses to start. It still thinks it's in first gear, So I disconnected the TCU. I also tested the wires on the starter and the 2 big ones have constant power and the little clip on wire has a constant ground. None of the readings change with the position of the key. What am I missing???

I read your other post about the shift cable.
To make the car think that it isn't in gear. You need to first remove the 17mm nut and the bracket that connects to the shift cable. At that point you can move the indicator manually untill it shows N or P on the dash. Try to start it, but realise that you may be in gear, so be safe

Do you have any bad transmissions sitting around? Pull the indicator off one of them and plug it in.

I had a similar problem with a XT6, unplugging the indicator or TCU wouldn't allow it to start. I had to shift the transmission into R which would show N on the dash and then she would start.
If you have the FSM's you can get the pin-outs and indicator switch diagram to figure a jumper?

OK, So the shifter is fixed and so is the gear indicator switch. That got the engine cranking, But now I have the next problem to tackle tomorrow: It won't start due to no fuel flow. I'll run checks on the wiring tomorrow and so on, But just so I know: Where is the fuel pump relay and any fuses related to it?

I checked the fuel pump wiring and voltages and all is good. I remove the top of the tank and I now know the gas gauge isn't working either due to there is probally a half tank of gas and the gauge is all the way on E. Here's my concern: When I reached down into the tank and felt around the bottom, I felt some sort of gooey stuff and when I pulled my hand out I had a black tar substance all over the back of my fingers. I reached under the screen to see if anything was clogging it and it didn't feel gooey under it. The goo was more on the side of the tank right under the pump itself.

OK, so the fuel pump is toast. I got it out and tried it on the battery and it's froze up. The goo turns out to be some sort of rubber disk or something they used under the fuel pump to keep it quiet I'm guessing. But overall, The whole fuel pump assembly was a nasty mess, So I'm gonna get all the guts out of my parts car fuel tank and swap them. It should be running in the next day or 2 with any luck.

If you run a piggie wire from your starter switch to the solinoid (the harness in the back of the ign that sends power to the solinoid via the tcu you can start it in any gear. I did this with my XT to fix the clickiness they all develop and this was a side effect. It should work fine as you'll simply bypass the neutral saftey switch (or whatever its called in an auto).
