Question outback o2 sensor

2003 outback-check engine light came on-dealer diagnostic check said "failed air assist solenoid"-code P0065(?)-they won't order part unless they install it($109 labor on top of part cost)-how can I determine which sensor so I can order online and install myself?

Have you inspected the sensors your self as the only time I got a fault code on O2 sensors was when I ripped the wires out of one of them on a rock. May be you can tell by looking.

I don't think they are a decent shop . . .

I'd be willing to bet the dealer diagnostic check wasn't free. If you paid for the diagnostic, they don't own the information they retrieved. If it was a "free" check, then this is their was to make you pay for it.

Welcome to the site, may I ask why your first post to an SVX site is about your Outback?

Good Luck,
Dan
