your local parts store should be able to get one, or overpay at subaru... or would you rather have a used one (if so, i have one i'd sell).

i had both the alternator and starter If i can find them If intersted in both i will look for them and try to find the safe place they got moved too

Don't chuck your old one. It can be rebuilt better than any auto parts store crap by a local alt./starter rebuilder. Will cost between 75-150 depending on the market in the area. It'll be just like new provided the shop knows what they are doing.

Yes, and check the dims on how far the pulley sticks out....If you read GreenMarine's thread, he mentioned his alternator pulley was slightly misaligned and it shredded his belt.

If you need an alternator to rebuild do a search for auto desmantlers. I got a used one for $25 + s&h from a junk yard with a web site. Had it rebuilt for $119, I'm a happy camper
