You're telling me you'd rather pull over to the side of a highway immediately, where cars fly passed you doing a conservative 40-60 mph, as opposed to following a vehicle a quarter mile further down the road safely off the highway where cars may be doing 25-35 mph?

If the police officer sees that it isnt safe for the vehicle to pull over in that area he will keep beeping and flashing untill he sees it appropriate for the car to stop. If i was the cop i would keep flashing and beeping the person in front of me untill the area was secure enough.

when i pulled of early it was at 4 am and not a soul on the road but me and him mono et mono. i have no clue what mono et mono mean. (me and u in an academic decathlon.)

Hence my comment if you read it in full, I pick the stop location. If it isn't safe, I wait until I find somewhere I like then activate the lights.
