Never had it checked out, I don't like the doctor. I have self diagnosed myself with low blood sugar. Whenever I got the feeling, a cup of orange juice always seemed to make it go away, so I just drink a lot of OJ now and it hasn't happened it quite some time.

Hope you turn out to be healthy. Are they making you wear one of those holter monitors (portible ekg heart monitor)?

72hrs w/o driving an SVX? What a mean doc!

I've had probs with fainting due to odd heart rhythms and low BP of obscure origin, not too fun.

yeah i know how that is. inconclusive doctors and perpetual test. ive been in an out for the past six months. i hope you experience is better than mine and you have fast closure. lord knows its not an easything to go day to day with the nagging fear of what mality you might have. worse yet a doctor gives you false info sending you on an emotional rollorcoster only to find that the test results return negitive. i hope you can resolve this in a manner that will yeald a pleasing outcome.

i have had incidence like this before not to the extreem tough and i have never seen a doc. it is usualy after i take a really hot bath or shower and when i get out and start to get dressed i feel light headed, sick to the stomach, and the racing heart. i just lie down on my bed it try to relax . it also happens in the hot tub. maybe it has to do with the elivated body temp and blood presure. but im not a doctor.

Nope no holter this time....i had to do that a few yrs back when i had chest pains. I also think this could be heart related. I have the best docs caring for me so im not really worried. These docs are my moms friends ( shes a nurse) and have been treating her and my brother for quite some time now.

Nahhhh dont think thats a connection. By nervous i mean like i just wanted to go and get it over with...not like i was about to cry and i was so emotionally distressed. I think it is cardiac related though. My regular doctor is actually a cardiologist so we'll see what kinda tests he wants to run. I'm scheduled for an EEG and a stress test next week.

those are very vague symptoms, it could be anything for any number of reasons. they wouldn't have released you if they thought it was a cardiac condition, they would have kept you at least over night for observation, well at least they do that in jersey. my b/f is a diabetic and low blood sugars can feel like that. your cells are actually starving from the lack of glucose. it could have been orthostatic hypotension too. do you have difficulty with dizziness in the mornings? that is when you go from a laying position to a standing position too fast. otho hypo could also be related to a heart condition. did you loose conscious at all? it could have been a minor seizure...you can stay almost totally conscious during a minor one, or loose it totally

keep us posted, i am curious to see what was the matter

Kelli

ps, feel better too man!

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.

Snap

I had one incident like that, few years ago.

Got up middle of the night to go to the toilet. Got dizzness, cold sweat, my vision started to change colour [strange one that]. I lost consciousness, fell back into the shower, hurting my head and back and waking my wife.

It was food poisoning from some pre-cooked dish we had bought in our [pretty up-market] local supermarket. Was really, really weak and sick for two days, and I have strong immunity, probably only been in bed sick for a week in my whole life.

Your "event" was similar enough to remind me soobie. Hope you are OK long term. My guess would be low blood pressure and or low blood sugar, from whatever cause, but I am not medical.

Keep us posted and take care of yourself.

Joe

Perhaps you had a premonition that you'd be forbidden from driving the SVX for 72 hours? That'd sure do it for me.

Hope they find the loose screw. Good luck.
