The most memorable live performances I've seen include concerts by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Rolling Stones, Eric Clapton, Pink Floyd, Frank Zappa & the Mother's of Invention, Carlos Santana, and John MacLachlan.
A brilliant list. I wish I could see some of those acts live. We are a litle restricted here, although we have had Status Quo and Slade.

I have seen The Who, Clapton (twice, once from the 9th row. That was something ) and Yes. I have to say Pink Floyd is among my top fav bands too. I guess its good to like the music your station plays. Otherwise your head would explode

Oh yea. It was a good show. Rick Wakeman was playing 6 keyboards at the same time. I was a little sad he didn't wear the cape though

The Beau Brummels arguably gave birth to "country rock" circa 1964 in San Francisco. They had two national "hits". Just a Little, & Laugh, Laugh. One of the founders, Sal Valentino, still performs throughout California. Very underrated & semi-unknown group appreciated only by connoisseurs of the obscure like me.

Ron (If anyone here has knowledge of an early '70s male-female duo called Rejoice, I want to have your baby!)

Hahah - me too, and my normal music choice is heavy/death metal.
Slayer, Pantera, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Fear Factory, Crowbar, Slipknot, etc.
But - I also listen to Avril Lavigne, Tori Amos, Jewel, Juliana Hetfield, Beastie Boys, Janes Addiction, Creedence, Skynrd, Charlie Daniels Band, Guns -n- Roses, Smashing pumpkins, James Taylor.

I spent 3 days this week with christina aguilera's "beautiful" on repeat in the svx. Yes I am sick.

All depends what kind of mood I am in that day.

I have blind melon's CD in the shower radio and listen to "no rain" almost every morning on repeat while I get ready. I don't get sick of it.
