I'd have to say...

That color.
Not sure if it's factory (Australian or JDM or something).
BTW, this is MisanthropyV's SVX. (I sent you a PM about the color
.)

Don't know about gray looking dated, but I do think I'd prefer tan with the dark teal.

How about the Titanium Grey that was on Daluvabull's car until he re-painted it recently?

Charcoal Grey is much darker than that - in fact, many people think that it looks black!

As with most SVX owners, partiality reigns supreme here.

I love my Pearly, but right behind in a close second, and I'm talking CLOSE, is the Laguna Blue. The laguna blue is vibrant yet subtle enough that makes this color, unlike many other blue colored cars, something to long after.

I love the suede interior and think that the color fits some, but definitely not all of the SVXii.

I think that Pearl or the Green/Teal cars may be the most common.

My fav colors are ebony, silver and laguna. I like how the pearlies look at night, and the teal and green look good surrounded by grass/plants/trees. My favorite shade of red is bordeaux, although I like the claret (I still put it in the dark red catagory - purple doesn't sound as cool) and the '93 reds too. Eh, I just like them all.

I like the escaline better than the leather as far as feel goes, but I think they both look good. I think the tan interior should go with the green, blue and bright red cars. The ebony looks good with either. I think the silver, claret and pearly should go with gray, but tan would be okay.

Jet Black. I think that virtually any car with a matte black finish is dead sexy. Cheap primer does not count. After that, any monochrome colors are best, but I prefer the darker ones. I think the Titanium Grey on Daluvabull's SVX is excellent. It makes this otherwise slightly feminine car look a bit macho. In fact, it makes the mock light in the grill look good.

Yellow is fantastic, but it has to be the right one. There are a lot of bad yellow colors out there. Also, I don't think any factory car should be allowed to be yellow. Only cars with significant performance improvements should be yellow. This would unfortunately exclude all SVXs, as nobody (that I know of) has crested that roughly 350 horsepower benchmark, which is about what I think it would take to justify that paint. Opinions may vary. (Waiting for the stones to begin flying.)

Pearl White looks good, but only when the trunk and spoiler are also white. I'm not particularly impressed with the factory pearl colors. They could be a lot more brilliant, like the early Cadillac pearl paint was.

Lastly, Lagua Blue is a fine color. I would prefer it to be darker, and more lustrous, but it's broadly very attractive.

I do not care for the green or red-based colors. The SVX makes any color look good, but I feel these colors only flatter the car in just the right light. (If the light is perfect, they do look quite sharp.) I think red just screams "I really want to be a Ferrari." The green/teal, plumb/bordeaux, seem like colors that only senior citizens would choose - not bad looking, but they don't scream anything; they just sit on the porch and talk about the weather. I am glad people like them though, because there are a lot of 'em out there, which I presume is because old people did in fact choose those colors, and the flashier colors have all be chosen by young people who have destroyed their cars already.

I love a Dark- Titianium Silver on the SVX, like the one above, was going to paint my car that color after the wreck, but then I decided on Midnight Black instead, love the look of it, hard to keep clean though.........

JDW-SVX: Charcoal Grey is a very confusing color (it almost looks like a dark green in some of your pics).

Even though I drive a Barcelona Red, I will be honest and say that Laguna Blue is my personal favorite.

Best color combo that I've seen is pearl white w/ a laguna blue rear spoiler (you know who you are ). Very cool.

Color

Hi everyone, Of course Claret is the color of my '92. So that would be my choice. However I do like every color that is on a SVX. Talking about "Charcoal", who invented the charcoal briquette? Take care, BOBB
