Wrx stereo swap complete

I was able to install my wrx 6 disk in dash changer the other day.It was not simple and it took longer than I thougt but the results were well worth the effort. My stock cd deck was starting to skip so after doing some research on this site I decided to try to replace it with the wrx changer. The deck cost me $180 on ebay . The harnesses were about another $30 from "svxdc"and the wire crimpers and spiral wrap were a few dollars at costco. So for the price of a cheap after market single deck installed by someone who may or may not know what they are doing I got a Subaru 6 disk changer that looks as though it came with the car that was installed correctly and with care. I had never done any car stereo work before but with the directions and harnesses from this site the job turned out great. I would like to thank both "svxdc"and "uncamitzi" for all their help. The job would have been impossible with out thier advice.

Question Pics?

Got any pics of either the installation or final product?

I've been thinking of this since the MP3 player I installed last year seems to be dying...

I will try to learn how to down load pictures onto this site.I have not tried it yet but I should be able post some shots of the finished job. I didnt take any durring the install so no help there. You can find some pictures of the final product in "uncamitzi"s personal locker. The olny change would be that I modified the trim piece on the inside of the stereo door to clear the stereo knobs. Let me know if you need any help.

stereo pics

Here is a shot of the finished stereo install and a shot of the black plastic trim piece from the inside of the stereo door with the modifications ( holes) made with a Dremel to clear the stereo knobs.
