Test color SVX

I fiddled around with photochop, trying out different (mostly horrible) colors:

Some colors obviously look better (to me eyes) than others. It isn't one of my fav colors; but even if it was, there's no way I would ever tell somebody my car was painted periwinkle

Well those must have taken you awhile to upload.

Someday, you realize, some kid's gonna join and ask what years Subaru made Cheddar-colored SVXen, and we're going to tell that kid, 'Subaru never made Cheddar-colored SVXen.'

'Uh huh! Did so - I saw it on teh intarweb!'

You've got all those cars, and you can't even get the wheels on properly on any of them!!!

Thumbs up

Nice work!

Some of those colours look fantastic. Although I think they would look better with '92-style shiny black roof.

Or I've gotta have a two tone, periwinkle/pumpkins.

I think gray/slate looks great on the SVX. If I were ever getting the car repainted a different color, it would be the gray I have seen on a few Audi TT's.

Your color choices remind me of a comment I read on one of the Porsche 911 boards, where someone described the early 911 color options as the "64 color Crayola Crayon years"

One of your blues (sky?) looks just like Audi's "pelican" blue...I love it on the SVX!

those look great, i like the slate and of course, the purple

is there anyway that you can set up the picks so that the colors that are close, like blue and sky blue are next to each other so the older memeber with the notsogood eyes can see the difference??

Here's my favorite color combination (AFTER Pearl, of course) -- too bad it was only offered across the big pond.

It seems that I've had it before, but can't rightly remember. I think it's called "Dark Red Mica" (which was the factory designation for the Claret, believe it or not), but, again, can't be positive. Any of you guys across the way know for sure?

Exclamation That Red

the red car that randy put a pic of in Oz is Bordeaux Pearl, a mica type red/claret, the other red is the flat [non mica] colour in Oz known as Bright Red code 559
