Nice one grn.

Cool wheels. I like the polished rims. Are they genuine split rims, or have bolts for style reasons?

I am harbouring a plan to buy a set quite like yours [very suave and elegant, IMO] and paint the centre body colour, thus making a nice contrast with the polished rim.

This might also have the advantage of making them less attractive to thieves.

Has the paint on your arch got a problem, or is that a reflection??

Joe

More on the wheels

they are just one piece, I put on each one a locking nut to stop would be thieves.. they were for the set of 4 inc tyres just over $2K AUD
the paint thing I think is just how the pic finished up, just inside the inside lip of the wheel arch is a piece of black formed rubber which i've seen on other SVX not sure of its intent..but I 've rechecked the original pic...all clear
I also had fitted 9 metres of rubber bump stuff with a small chrome strip right around the car to protect it from crazy shopping trolley parking, it seems to have given the look a bit of a further lift and be actually of some use

thanks for the +ve rap on the wheels I went thru a big in choosing them as the originals look good but I wanted to put 18ns on and most after market have moved away from this style..in saying that after fitting them the car gets looks everywhere i am ...."What The !"

That could be still the SVX thing..its a what...when did they make that ..gee is it a new model...anyway that 'll do for now

They sure look good on the car!

Now with the 18s, you have the option of maybe putting on bigger disks and callipers, at least on the front. Would give you worthwhile additional stopping power.
