What should I say?

I'm sure most of you experience this problem. Whenever someone asks me what I drive, girls and guys alike, I always say a Subaru SVX. These are some of the responses I get.

"Is that a hatchback or a wagon?"
"What kind of car does it look like?"
"I've never heard of it."
"Is that the official Impreza rally car?"

My responses:
"No its a 2dr coupe..."
"It doesnt look like anything..."
"Thats because its rare..."
"No its not an impreza..."

Frankly I'm getting frustrated to the point where I'm just gonna say I drive an Italdesign so it gets my point across. .

I'm thinking to say that "its a limited production sports coupe by subaru"

How many of you have problems like these? And how do you respond?

I wish I had that problem. I'm lucky if someone here look's at my car hahah
Usually I tell them it's a Subaru SVX, and they say "Wow, it's a very nice car!" End of conversation.

It's a "Maserati" that was built by Subaru.

I think I'll use that one in the future.

Not a well known project.

Or how about:

"It was joint project car for Maserati and Porche built by Subaru."

It depends. If it's someone I know is a car guy (or gal), I tell 'em it's an SVX and we have an intelligent conversation about the car. If they aren't a car person, I'm at the point where I just say "I drive a Subaru". If it goes beyond that, I say it's a 2-door model they don't make any more.

Saves LOTS of time.
