If you had bad O2 sensors...you would get a check engine code.

Mine has got worse and gone that way too. I still trust the low light.

There is a how-to post on here that shows how it can be reset, needs a battery disconnect and a memory dump to achieve it.

Do a search, I think it looked simple and effective, just never got around to resetting mine.
