Exclamation Picking UP Black 92 SVX today

Today I will join the elite ranks of SVX drivers, and finaly live up to my name. I got a great deal and I'm really excited. The car won't replace my daily driver but it will definately be used and loved. I've been checking this site for a few weks and I can tell there will be alot of good information for me.
Oh and I'm definately going to Reading (pending no disasters).

Nice to meet everyone already!
Shane

Thumbs up

Best of luck with the car Shane.

And I trust with a club name like 007, you will drive less spectacularly than your namesake.

We want to think of you as James Bond, not James Bondo.

Be careful out there,

Joe

Picked up the car and I'm thrilled. I'm in Love! Even though it was dirty thanks to some inclimate weather. As far as deal details, I paid 2500 its a 92 with approx 97k. The car has a power steering leak and a wheel bearing issue, some cosmetic issues but nothing to serious. I could use a new drivers seat and floor mats if anyone is selling.

Cool. Another SVX in the local area. Wonder if it's the same black one I saw in in Plainfield a month ago. Where did you get it from?

I bought it from a guy in NY found it in one of the for sale threads right here. I doubt its the same one as the kid says he's never been outside of NY.
I pmed you about the 5spd thing. that is definately a mod I want to do. Since you did it and your close by I was hoping you could give me some info.

Welcome to the club, Shane. Congrats on your black 92! I happen to think you made an excellent choice in year and color, but then I am a little biased

I am a pessimistic optimistic. I think the worst is going to happen, that way when it does, i don't feel as bad, but if the best happens, i am twice as happy.
