Winnipeg - overnight low = -28°F and -48°F with the windchill.

The passenger autobelt in my car has worked flawlessley ever since I bought the car. Last night it must have got so cold that it stopped working. The seatbelt indicator on the dash was flashing the whole way home. It's working fine now.

I am going to quit teaching, and start a spring/summer/fall insulation business in Winnipeg. I should make enough to enjoy winters in....

Ok, temp reads -32C (-26F) the other morning which is the coldest day we've had for the last five years. Earthworm, I must have brought the bad weather gods down on us after I made fun of "Winterpeg". It's snowing hard, and there is a warning tonight for high windchill. So it only feels like -40. Geez, lucky us. To tell the truth, up until last week, there really hadn't been any winter here. Virtually no snow; (relatively)warm and sunny. How quickly things change! The SVX has been running without a hitch in the cold.

How many of you warm weather Americans can boast that your car comes with an electrical plug in?

Mine didn't have a block heater. I added one last winter.

Before Christmas it was wonderful here in Winnipeg. Things just went downhill from then.

You folks, north of say 29 degrees latitude (Daytona), are supposed to be cold - my SVX said 32 this morning at 6AM - there were people who claim to have seen snow flurries

[and I don't have the degrees C mod]

I THOUGHT some brand of vehicle had a heated steering wheel. Now who'll be the first to intoduce the "Ultra-decadence" option package? The heated turn signal, cruise control, & arm rest.

Ron (focused on buns).
