Re: Looking for another car

I'm not a big fan of all Subaru's, so I'll throw out the Honda passport/Isuzu rodeos into the mix. My dad fixed one up that was a total about ten years ago, and he hated to sell it because of how good it was. They have 4wd instead of awd but from what I've heard the 4wd is really good.

Also, a while back I made a list of cars to search Craigslist so I attached it too. Its just a general list of reasonably priced cars.

The other thing I forgot to mention: MUST HAVE CUP HOLDERS!
I don't know what is your priority. For haul stuff and doggies around, the element is the best. So what for the "toaster" look, it will remind you to have breakfast everyday lol. Or get a black one, it doesn't look as "toaster" that much. Plastic interior? Nothing is perfect lol!! You want a luxury interior, get a X5 6spd or a Cayenne SUV has manual available as well lol.

You don't really tell us what is your budget so it's hard to give you any better suggestions! But how could a mini cooper haul stuff and doggies better than an SVX? You just can't make up your mind!

I think CR-Vs are generally reliable. It's easier to find one with 5spd with the first-generation. I don't even know if they have manual available for its latest generation. Nowadays, most cars come with cup holders except our SVXi lol. If Cup holders are important, get a Honda Fit, it has 10 cup holders available, standard lol. It can haul a lot of stuff and your doggies!! Magic back seats! Good on gas, fun to drive and very easy to find a manual one.

I have a great suggestion! Nissan Cube all the way. It's good cup holders and lot of space. Just kidding! I don't like the look at all. Personally, if I am looking for something similar to what you need, I would check out the Kia Soul, Scion Xd or the new Elantra Touring. It's easy to get manual for them and they are cool cars and usually under warranty. If you don't want to spend that much, the older Ford Escape, Toyota RAV4 and Mazda Tribute, you can get 5spd for them and they're pretty good trucks, 4x4 available.

In the end, have fun looking and let us know what you get.

Hell no.

On another note: I got to ride in a Mazda 5 tonight. It was like a mini...mini van. Thank you for the suggestions. I'll look at the Element, but not a fan. The Mini Cooper was more of a "wouldn't mind" but probably won't get it.

That is how I describe the Mazda 5 too, that or a "micro van". (My wife drives that one)

Re: Looking for another car

Ok so I got to really look at an Element. Not bad cars. I'm thinking about posting my red SVX for sale just to see if I get any bites, but I just cannot bring myself to click the "submit" button.

St.Peter; Hi, you're here early.
R; Well, yea, it was kind of unexpected...
St.Peter; So, ah, killed yourself.
R; Yea, it seemed like the right thing to do.
St.Peter; Its because you traded your Killer Tomato for a Honda?
R;Yea, I know, it was stupid.
St.Peter; I understand, but you still have to go to hell!
R;AAAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!
