Injector selection

Sorry to flog a dead horse guys.

I'm trying to find some new injectors...I previously misinterpreted advice on this forum and ended up with some Legacy ones...didn't fit.

I've reread some posts who say 300ZX turbo ones fit...but they're not really available here in Australia.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,
Matt

Re: Injector selection

For example...

These should work I think? But people speculate that the pintle length changes on some of the side-feed injectors.

Skyline ones are a dime a dozen here...so if I can confirm they fit, then she's apples.

Anybody care to confirm?

Anybody got a picture of an SVX injector they can compare for me?

Significant Technical Input
Re: Injector selection

The skyline injectors pictured fit. The sard injectors do not fit. What you need to look for is the small bottom o-ring all the way down by the pintle cap.

You mentioned 300zx injectors. None of the US 300zx injectors work. They have the large bottom oring that sits higher up on the injector. The 95 and 96 300zx they sold in japan had the injectors with the small o-ring all the way down by the pintle and would work--we never see them here in the US.

All the skyline injectors I've seen have the small o-ring all the way down by the pintle cap and would fit our fuel rails.

Re: Injector selection

Strange, svx injectors fit in a legacy.

Re: Injector selection

Thanks Mike,

I'll chase some Skyline injectors from here.

Cheers,
