New SVX Owner
Hi all, I've been around lurking for a while, but it finally happened; I was able to buy a beautiful '97 LSi, EPB, #401, with 179k on it this past Satuday. Everything works (except for the auto antenna) and it drives very smoothly.
I've been a Subaru owner since 1997 when I bought my first Forester. Since then, I'm on my third Forester. The SVX will be the fifth Subaru I've owned, and first car w/auto tranny ever. All I can say is I am thrilled and proud to cruise around in the LSi, and be a posting member here, finally. So far, I've already gone to a fellow member's (nexus_7) house to help with his tranny removal, but got there a little late. Anyhow, Greg gave a great first impression of how friendly SVX owners are. I have bit of a learning curve when it comes to the new ride, but I'm glad people are so helpful here in the forums. Again, I'm glad to be here.
