Exclamation Tire weear problem... :eek:

Noticed that my rear tires are wearing on the inside of them, both sides, whats the deal!! i dont see that their is any way for a allignment shop to fix this, is there?

that would the toe adjustment assuming.....could be the camber (if it were your fronts)......unless something is bent???
get an alignment...straighten out the alignment before it wears it out even worse.

There is no camber adjustment in the rear just the toe. If the toe is out it will wear the tires. How many miles since you got an alignment? What type of tires do you have? It could be strut mount has rotted away, common with salted roads and winter driving.

well i didnt get a chance to take it in yet, what i was meaning by the 500 bucks is it seems with my luck its never a simple fix, likea alignment

If you have a firestone location near you I suggest going there. they offer a Life time package for $129 I beleive. I take mine in twice a year on both cars and they are always happy to see me.

This is the Only thing I would suggest getting done at a joint like that, but for the price...A++

thanks you for the suggestion! ill check into it

never seen tires on the rear wear out the inside like mine are doing, also i think that is where im geting some of the noise from, doenst sound like wheel bearings, mainly because it isnt affected by cornering ect, like the bearings are, they change sounds when you swerve ect, this doesnt its a hum that changes as you speed up goes away at around 90
