WTB: engine and related parts for conversion to a Porsche
Near Spokane, I need the parts for putting an SVX engine in my Porsche. Prefer a parts car so I know I have everything.
Engine condition not important but must be complete. Thanks Wayne 509-953-9091 |

I would suggest looking for a car that has a blown transmission. Shouldn't be too hard to find. The parts you need will most likely be in decent condition. What Porsche is this for? 914?

911 conversion
Your suggestion is ideal. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of SVX's in the Spokane area to choose from.
The engine is for a '77 911. I have a 914 with a Nissan 3.0 V-6. The SVX engine will be a better fit for the 911 than a V-6. And I am not much interested in planting a small block with all its weight in my 911. If you hear of a car with bad tranny please let me know. Thanks Wayne |

CNS motors
Wayne,
If you decide to just go Motor instead of full parts car I just bought a complete JDM SVX motor from Japan with 45,000 miles on it. It set me back around $820, because I was able to pick it up no shipping. Japanese motors seem like a good choice because there is so little corrosion and they have a short warranty. I think they also might sell complete front clips. The place I bought mine was called CNS motors in South El Monte Ca, the guys seemed pretty nice. Interestingly enough I am moving to Spokane before Christmas am looking forward to it. Good Luck!! Steve

Hello, I have a 92 svx that I'm parting out for a friend, so if you want any parts, let me know. I have only removed the suspension, interior, and glass. Let me know what you will need, and we should be albe to work something out. You can email me at wade.eldridge@gmail.com. Thanks,
