Darn thing wont come out. Wheres that bolt.

Allright the drivers side is loose, its practicaly out, but there are some mystery bolts on the passenger side. Anyone else find them where they were a little tricky?
Is it affixed to the airbag possibly or is the mystery screw under the escaine dash peice under the passenger airbag compartment(the peice with the vent)?

Looks like he's trying to remove the gray escaine piece above the glove compartment and below the passenger side airbag.
Are you going to remove the entire dash also?
Sorry can't help you how to remove the escaine piece....did you remove some screws on the side when you open the door? How about inside of the glove box? (Not sure there are screws in there though)

parting is an understatement......lol I think he's selling every part he can possibly remove.
I think he had a thread about selling his car or what parts he's selling. It might be one of those "if you need it...he'll remove it and sell it to you"

I think the air bag is bolted to the dash cross member in at lest two places. Remove the glove box lining and look strait up under the dash.

yep its a pesky screw. The other thing it might be if we are talking about the glove box is on the side of the arm that goes into the dash. I think there is a c clip that take out and then it can be removed

Sorry

Seatbelts were already sold. Everyone wants the manual seatbelts and they sold quick. Good news is that the dash is out though. Yip-eeee. It was a pain. Starting the steering unit tomorrow. Hopefully that can be an evening-and-done deal.

The car was totalled

It was hit in the rear and had some unibody damage in the back. The remanuafactred tranny only had 5 thousand something miles on it so I got it for a parts/sale parts car. http://www.subaru-svx.net/photos/fil...ot76/21058.jpg
After the wreck...but in front.
