Smile no heat! I'm freezing!

Hello, I'm excited to own my 1st svx and join the forum. What a sweet ride! Of course the car has problems. I was coming home from work this morning and no heat!!! The temperature gages(both engine and climate control) works like it should. Two fuses for heat under dash are good. When I move the temperature setting up and down, fan blows fast in 65 and 85 and kind of slow in between so I guess it's working like it should in response to cool and heat the interior. No matter what mode it's in, auto, econ, vent, def, low to high fan setting, it blows cold air out in 85 degree setting. Please help, I had to wrap my 4year old son in blankets to take him to school.

I just went through this. Check "Heater Blues" under Chris's SVX forum as well. First you have to crawl in your passenger side and next to the console(underneath the dash) you'll see a servo motor attached to a linkage. You might need an extra hand to toggle the heat from 65 to 85. See if the linkage actuates. If it doesn't you've got some problem with that circuit or motor. You can disconnect that linkage and pull it towards you to manually open that door and get things going for now.
If everything seems fine , you should check both heater hoses going into the firewall are hot. You could do this first even. If not your problem is there.
