No sightings

Jean and I just got home from almost two weeks of vacation; Montreal via Binghamton, NY and back the same way. We spotted not one single SVX.

But then, we only saw one SVT Focus.

Jazz Festival

We were staying west of Montreal, so we only got to the festival
one hot afternoon, and couldn't see the fireworks from where we
were. A return trip with enough money to get tickets to the GOOD
stuff, will have to wait for another time.

I always had the best time just wandering around between all of the free shows in the late afternoons/evenings.
It has been a couple of years since I have been up to it. I NEED to get back there next year.

As for the fireworks... They are the best shows I have ever seen. The countries represented all seem to give their best show the competition.

Oh yeah, and a bump for Subafreaks sighting

I guess thats OK. It's lasting longer than most sighting threads that way I guess. Not that anything ever becomes of them.

Didn't see even one ...

Over the recent holiday weekend, I gave my SVX the official break in test. NH to Ohio & back, via NY. Spent a day on the track at Watkins Glen too. Didn't see any other SVX's the entire week I was gone - you guys all hiding? (there's a handful of them in the area I live in, so I know they're around).

I find it funny when you can drive across 4 states and never see another SVX. I mean it's not like there that rare

Brenda, you don't seem to like to own cars that are easy or cheap to find parts for.

Yep, that's me ... I like the cars that are a little different from the norm. From what I've run into so far with the SVX, parts really aren't that tough to get, nor are they all that pricey (compared to some of the cars I've owned before). Nor are they difficult to diagnose either. Guess some of it comes from experience.

Best reason I have for continuously buying low-production cars ... because when they get hit hard enough to total it, ya just let 'em take it ..... and get the next kewl car you can find. Less hassle dealing with body shops and insurance companies.

Surprisingly though, my '62 and my m/c are extremely easy to get parts for (very cheap too).

PS - yes, I agree it's strange driving thru 4 states with seeing another SVX. In the area I live in, I've see 2 other greens, 1 light blue, 1silver, 1 pearl, 1 black and 1 red. But that's ok, the Subaru WRX owners made up for it on that trip .... hooked up with 6 that were heading to the Watkins Glen as well. Made for a very nice driving school.
