I havent personally used them, becasue i was blessed with good struts, But they do work. Its basicly just a pipe that slides over the strut arm. A refined stick holding it up you could say
But hell, for a few bucks more you can just get a good set of used oem struts

I've been smack by the hood so many times.. It always stays until I put down my guard. Smacked me two days ago when that fancy 50 cent billet cap I got from PWR failed.
