SVX parts wanted

Hello,

I am the second owner of a 1992 SVX LS-L.

My tachometer has stopped working and it isn't the fuses.

My tech has told me I need one of the following part numbers:

one (1) required - 22053AA020 Crank Angle Sensor

two (2) required - 22056AA030 Cam Angle Sensors

Because my tech is uncertain which one of these I need, I've decided to purchase:
one (1) Crank Angle Sensor and
two (2) Cam Angle Sensors

Are these still available from the dealer or is here a substitute. Does the tech’s diagnosis seem accurate or is there another possible cause?

Sadly I think your tech is full of it. If any of those sensors failed your SVX would not run or run poorly. It is a semi common issue that the tach fails due to old age. Find a used gauge cluster and try that and if it works swap it in or swap the tach.

listen to gwynethh I agree with it. it would not run if one of those where bad and some times just taking out the cluster and cleaning the connection with contact clean will fix it. your tech should know it would not run if one of those is bad.
