Are you being held up because of the wire? If so pick up a tool like thesehttp://www.napaonline.com/MasterPage...cket&VehCode=N

Both Autozone and Advance Auto have O2 Sensor Wrench kits in their loan a tool program.

If you can get the wrench on but can't turn it loose, run the car to heat up the pipe, then try it. If you don't enjoy burnt fingers, you may want to break them both loose a few turns, then let it cool before you completely take them out.

there is a..............

push on connector up above the 02 sensor.

Just disconnect it and slide the box end wrench right over the wire

Well I got it done I went to a trusted mechanic and using his driveway and his jack propped the car up. Was a bit hard to get off but some stuff he had to "unlock" the threads did the trick kinda like wd 40 but I can't remember the name. All is done. Just was weird the code flashed a few times never stayed on. Lets hope that helps my 14 mpg -.-;;;

I did the "free" loaner tool from Autozone and it was the 22MM work Also had 7/8 or what ever on it. I had to put 32 dollars down for their set and got it back once I was done. Made it very easy and quick. Just let your car cool if run before you attempt this stuff is hot down there.
This is they one I used
