best subie tranny for an svx swap
im looking for the years of the cars subaru produced with the 4eat transmissions that will fit in a svx

1990-1998. If you really wanna swap, get one from 1998 I guess. It's pretty popular to use a 4.44 final ratio transmission from later model year Subies (though I'm not sure what models have what final gear).

Which Rear to Modify?
I've found instructions for swapping the higher ratio gears into the SVX differential and for adding the Limited Slip bits into the higher ratio differential.
