I was informed by a local shop that with a car like the svx,he would like to have the exhaust coming thru the side skirt in front of both rear wheels and use a carbon fiber look heat resistance material to protect the exhaust area.This would require a small amount of cutting and molding and the price would run around 3-350 for each side unpainted.Sounds a like a lot but I CAN'T imagined the reaction factor I'll see on poeple in traffic wow.

I think it is a cool idea. It is nice to see people trying new things. Innovation adn experementation keep the car community fresh.

Well it be something cool also I removed the wing to start doing most of the body work myself,I THINK the car looks really mean with no wing and plus I HAVE A NICE SEAT AT THE TRACK.

The wing is actually strong enough to hold my 140lbs self. Dunno about you and yours, though.

Looks more like I will be going this route, now that I am going to have to build my own dual exhaust. It will have a single dual in/dual out muffler but thats about it. 2.5" stainless piping from the headers to the tips... Not sure what tips I want to use yet but I think they will be twin exits on an angle like others have spoken about. I will also be doing some insulating to keep the heat from melting the sideskirt... keep posted for pictures once I get some measurements done and start ordering stock
