Just when life is good...

Something else breaks...

4 weeks and $2000 later and the SVX is back and running like a scalded dog. So just when Im perfectly happy and had the car out of the shop for 2 days... the rear wiper starts wiping the trunk instead of the glass.

Thats... 112 miles without something breaking... got to be a record

ahahhhahhhaha

This will suffice as my 3000th post.

It probably skipped or stripped some gear teeth.

Congrats Nik

it was just SO funny to watch it do it... I flipped it back and it did it right a few times and then fell back and wiped the trunk.. My car hates me lol

Does it go in circles or just kinda go with gravity?

it wipes just like it would on the glass...half circle except it does it on the trunk... Doesnt feel like it has any play in it.

If it is doing the wipe thing on the trunk, it would be on the metal instead of the rubber blade!

Battery died, replaced it, all was well for a week or so. Now it needs a new starter. Took it to the shop and the guy says "you know you have a headlight out?" *sigh* I walked home and the guy calls me later and says "we managed to get it started, but it's making some kind of unidentifiable white smoke. Doesn't smell like gas or antifreeze."

C'mon, car! Any other car would have the courtesy to at LEAST break up problems into increments that span over several months. I find your sense of humor in poor taste.
