SVX back on the road (now with AWD)
Just finished swapping out my transmission this morning after having had my front differential fail last week, AWD drive hasn't worked since I bought it, wish I would have known that then. Took longer than I expected to get the transmission out, hard to get anything done when you fall asleep under the car while working on it. Only took about three hours to get it all back together with only a few extra parts left over, but you always have those right:. Drove it to the beach today with no problems, hope it stays that way. Got a lot of looks, don't know if it was from the look of the car or the sound of the exhaust. Need to install new gaskets where the exhaust enters the catalytic converter. Thank you svxpert for the trans. Anyone on here own the other pearlie that I see on the Submarine Base every now and then?

Re: SVX back on the road (now with AWD)
Started taking it apart after driving down and back from CT to NJ to pick up the transmission. Worked on it for about 45 minutes before I fell asleep, woke up about three hours later still under the car, refreshed and ready to start working on it again. 10 hour drive combined with working 12 hours a night really takes it out of you.
