Hit a little gold mine!!

Found a 92 lsl svx same yr as mine with 153000 on it. It sat for a 1yr in the guys salvage lot. I put battery in it and it turned 3 times a started. No smoke, no engine lights etc! All class is in great shape! Has rebuilt trans with all receipts! Has many new parts axles etc! It was hit on the drivers door and quarter panel. $1000.00 and I drove it home with a dealer tag! I never knew the car was there he's only 15 minutes from my house. He also has another engine with 90000 on it going to pick it up this week! Other parts too, he has parted out 4 svxs over the past few yrs. Its was a great day!!!! steve

I also recently discovered a nearly untouched svx in a salvage yard. It is missing a single rear side lens and that is it... the guy to "talk business" with was not around, and no one working there knew what he was asking, but he wants to sell it whole... I'll try again soon.
It will require LOTS of cleaning and the junk that was "hiding it" most certainly caused some paint damag, but couldn't really tell how much with the inch of pollon covering it.

It is a pre-97 AWD and is a dark green, can't recall what that color name is

we'll see how the wife feels about driving a SVX, i'm sensing a very special AUTO conversion coming soon...
