What size tire?
What size tires do I need for the proper height on some 17x8 STi BBS's?

I'm pretty sure I'm running 225 45 17 on mine. 225 50 17 is too big though

225/45 17 RE070 is what comes on them. Stick with that or maybe consider a 245/40/17.

The 225/45/17 is real close
225/50-16 Overall Diameter 24.86 225/45/17 Overall Diameter 24.97 225/50-16 Circumference 78.09 225/45/17 Circumference 78.45 With your current 225/50/-16… if your speedometer now reads 65… with the 225/45-17 it will read 65.29 The tire width for both tires sizes is the same… 8.86
