Movie Help needed

I just finished watching Weird Science, one of my favorite movies, and it got me thinking. Besides Weird Science and of course Risky Business, what other movies have Porsche 928's figured prominatley in them? Yes this is a SVX board, and I love the SVX. I cringe everytime a car mag points out the failure of the SVX. I miss mine and still tell people about her, but the 928 is my new obsession.

this is an easy one.

i'd recommend 'The Hidden' - 80's sci-fi movie where the "good alien cop" drives a 928, and the "bad alien" drives Ferrari's.

others-
Final Analysis - Ashley Judd drives a late model ('87+) 928

Scarface - a couple 928's when Al's in a showroom.

not on the link Dza posted: Leonard, Part 6 - horrible movie, but Bill Cosby is a secret agent who drives a 928 with a tank turret on it.

the other movies on that link pretty much just have very quick shots of 928's. i didn't know, however, that there was one in Ronin - cool movie i've seen about 5 times. i'll have to watch it again.

some more, and other Porsches, on here: http://www.eatel.net/~dslabat/movies.htm

I can't believe I forgot the Hidden. As for Ronin, I have it on DVD and play the chase scene for the kids alot. I never saw Leonard, Part 6.

That's strange that it only mentions 1 movie. The SVX is also in a movie called "Rich mans wife" with Halle Berry, and in "Falling Down" with Robert Duval and Michael Douglas.

I passed the first test in getting a 928 into our next house. She pointed out, again, no cars till after we move next year. The house only has a 1 car garage and I think she has the Forester penciled in. But I showed her a Black and Guards Red 928 S4 and she said she liked the red alot more then the black. The fact she is forming an opinion means I'm beginning to get a toe hold! By spring 2007 I should have her OK with a Porsche in the garage!!!

no way! black is the best (and most menacing. ) one of the things i miss the most was getting behind someone on the highway, and they would get out of your way IMMEDIATELY! its an intimidating figure in the rearview mirror!

if not black, my next favorite was Lagoon Green Metallic - its silver, but at certain angles its has a bluish-green tint to it. it was unreal seeing it in person, really beautiful. good luck finding one, though.

Alan check out E-Bay under Porsche 928. They have a rare green over orange S4 10 miles from Pittsburgh. They also have a SUPERCHARGED 88 S4 . I'll be up nights thinking about that car.

The fact that i'm still on this board should make it completely unecessary to make that statement.

Oh and Ronin is one of the ultimate driver's movies of all time.

We actually agree on alot of things. Like politics for instance. That's a big one.

Ronin made me fall in love with the Audi S8, and if it weren't for the fact that it's still not available in the US, and the fact that Cadillac is making some really sweet cars these days, I might have an S8 in my garage.
