Live Chat! issues

I've tried getting into the Live Chat! using the web link available and it always comes up with the same error "...ClassFormatError.room/db local variable name has bad constant pool" (this is with IE 5.5, 6.0 and netscape 7.0) Anybody know whats up, and if they know the Irc channel so I can just use a regular Irc client? Thanks alot.
