95 SVX LSi / AWD / Red. ~99k miles. Chicago. Plus, a '93 AE parts car.
It's a sad day. I've lurked on this site for a long time and owned SVXes for about 10 years... but I think I'm finally going to part with my SVXes. Yes, plural.
I have a '95 in good condition, my semi-daily driver. I also have a '93 AE parts car (although I haven't really taken any parts off). The '95 is in Chicago and is in very good shape. The '93 is totalled has been sitting in a field in Vermont. This is primarily a listing for the '95, but if you want the '93 parts car too I would sell it for a negligible price (you provide shipping). It's also on craigslist, but I'd prefer that it goes to someone here. Year: 1995 Model: SVX LSi VIN: JF1CX3558SH101182 Manufacture date: 03/95 Paint Color: Red Interior Color: Beige Miles: About 99k Location: Chicago, IL Options: Standard (leather, sunroof, etc) AWD or FWD: AWD Modifications: Aftermarket stereo and speakers Major service: Brake rotors and pads last year. One new caliper. A/C compressor seals and condensor. Engine Condition: Good Maintenance Records: I've owned it since August 2006, and have records for most of what I've done (which is not much) Transmission condition: Good Glass condition: Standard pits for age, but overall good Type of tire and remaining tread: Yokohama. Good tread. Type of wheels: Stock. Interior condition: Quite good. Leather looks good (with standard wear). Carpet could use a shampoo. Body condition: Some dings and chips. Front bumper needs to be repainted (casualty of parking). Rear bumper repainting is optional, possibly new bumper cover (rear-ended in 2011, probably at 5-10 mph). Some fading of the pieces near the trunk, and the mirrors. Known defects or problems: Antenna lost a piece a few weeks ago, so it's limp. Front passenger window doesn't roll down. I removed the front speakers trying to troubleshoot what sounded like a loose connection, and haven't reinstalled them. Driver's side lock is funky. Minor paint things mentioned above. Comments about the car: Love it, and will miss it. Asking price: $4900. Will consider reasonable offers, but I think that's pretty fair. Earl: the 1993 was production number 205. I actually registered it here a few years ago when I was (another time) going to sell it, but completely forgot I had another membership until a day or two ago. So you already have it registered to keithb. It still has the same mileage (about 80k). But the condition is worse -- it's been sitting in field.
